Norwegian Ship Burns at New York Dock in Major Fire
The Norwegian steamer Christian Bors of 4706 gross tons was damaged by fire at South Brooklyn docks, with about $1,000,000 in damage. The blaze began early today as the ship from Buenos Aires discharged hides. several Brooklyn fire companies and three fire boats fought the flames, which were under control two hours after discovery. The origin is undetermined. The British steamship Baron Taideburgh, discharging sugar and glucose, was also badly damaged.
