Waterloo Canning Factory to Pack Half Load This Fall
The Water loo canning factory began its annual fall pack yesterday and will run about five weeks. Due to previous overproduction flooding the market, only about half the corn packed last year will be put up this season. Superintendent J J White notes no night shifts will be used and day shifts will be lighter. New husking machines improve output, cleanliness, and efficiency, though overall production remains well below last year.
