Tearney to Rule On Monday's Game

In a recent contest against Peoria Harrington was ordered to the clubhouse by umpire Cusack. Boyle requested reinstatement in the ninth but was refused. The rules allow return if manager requests and player hasn’t left the grounds. Umpire Eckman allowed two Danville players back after being sent off, with unclear authority. Manager Boyle plans a protest to President Tearney, and a league ruling is expected to clarify enforcement. The decision may be hard to forecast but will interest southern cities.
