Sealed proposals will be received by the city clerk of Waterloo Iowa at city hall until 7:30 p m on August 25 1919 for constructing sidewalks on Kern street north side from Way to alley in Burnside Third addition lots 2 4 block 3 over street north side Fourth street to 150 feet east of Manson street blocks 6 8 7 10 14 (various lots) and many other street improvements including Parker street and Gra ndview Place. Contracts include paving with brick or vitrified brick and asphalt filler, concrete bases, curb rules, underdrains, and assessments to be levied on benefited property. Work to begin by September 10 1919 and finish by July 1 1920. Proposals must be accompanied by bid security and conform to city ordinance requirements.
