City approves paving and lamp updates in west Bertch
Council approves a contract with C W Shirey to pave Bertc street west from Clough to Moir with asphaltic macadam paid by property owners, city to build catch basins. AResolution of necessity for replacing old boulevard lamps in the west business district will follow a petition. A plan to remove an old residence near Commercial and Second streets was approved. A large tree on South street was condemned after leaning toward a home. The city will not allow a gasoline station at Park and Sycamore, and a request to install a gas pump on 1290 Barton Avenue was referred to the council. Wholesome Brookfield Eggs advert appears.
