River levels fall as Cedar flood recedes after crest
The Cedar River rose to 17 feet 2 inches at the Sunday crest and fell to 15 feet 3 inches by morning. Flooding in Sherwood Park and Riverview Addition eased, with roads reopening though one private road remained blocked. Residents evacuated to higher ground, some using boats, and many kept belongings in cottages as waters receded.
