Regulation of bus and truck interests to shape next Congress
Washington April 23 The American Automobile Association moves to gauge bus and truck operators demand for regulation as a major issue before the sixty-ninth congress. A A A referendum to 105 associations asks whether to retain the present status, empower the Interstate Commerce Commission, or grant state and industry boards power to shape policy. President Thomas P Henry says the study links regulation to future of commercial motor vehicles, noting Supreme Court rulings but urging clear guidance for the industry.
