Women Urge Medigel Society Aid For County Poor
At the Waterloo Woman's club annual meeting strong support was voiced for the county board to continue to have Waterloo Medical Society members tend the poor when ill. Mrs. Dorothy Taylor presented the issue. Mrs. H. B. Boies and Miss Susan B. Lentz spoke. A resolution passed unanimously and a committee was suggested to press the board. Action was deferred until the May meeting as the contract with the Waterloo Medical Society had expired and a cheaper offer from another physician appeared.

A fragmented report describes a public hearing before a representative body in New Ark. The text mentions a mother speaking about her husband and three sons, and a fourth son being considered.
