A writ of mandamus seeks to force the city to reassess and cover certain special assessment certificates issued for sewer construction from 1st Ward to Maud Jane Wilson. The Trust Company claims liens exceed 25 percent of property value and asks for reassessment or city purchase, or tax-sale redemption. The case cites a prior ruling that the owner is free of liens due to tax sale records and deeds extinguishing special assessments.
