Iowa Blind Training School Expands at Vinton
Des Moines reports Iowa's state commission for the blind will run an eight week summer program for adult blind at Vinton starting June 4. Courses include typing braille reading writing weaving sewing chair caning mat making and piano tuning if enough enroll. Over 20 enrolled with potential increases. The program continues the state's push toward adult vocational training and prevention of blindness.
