Highway Work Moves In Full Swing In County Districts
Highway work for the season progresses in the Tawa highway commission and the county engineer's office. Engineers have been in the field over the past days inspecting road improvements while ideal weather favors progress. Giant Paving plans to begin pouring concrete next week on the Cedar Falls to Eaton County line project, near La Porte City.

Dirt road conditions have improved after days of mud as ruts are smoothed by dragging and graders.
