Boy Nearly Choked By Kernel At Home
Three and one half year old son of Mr and Mrs Hor ner of 202 Washington street placed a corn kernel in his mouth and it slipped into his windpipe. He had trouble breathing but doctors thought surgery unnecessary.
Waterloo Iowa District Seeks Bids for School Additions
The Independent School District of Waterloo Iowa will accept sealed bids until 7 30 p m May 4 1910 for additions to Lowell and Westfield schools and finishing six rooms in the high school on the Cedar River side.
