Waterloo riverfront plan to widen channel and add walls
The Waterloo riverfront commission proposes a retaining wall on the east bank from the Suffern building toward the railroad bridge and terracing of both banks from Mullan avenue to Sixth street to beautify the riverfront. If funded, the plan could widen the channel and allow a park with shrubs, flowers, and possibly a soldiers' monument.
