Triumph of Man Statue by Edstrom Nears Washington Debut
David Edstrom, famed sculptor once a Ottumwa laborer, completes The Triumph of Man in Washington after 22 years of work. The main group features three titanic figures back to back battling a serpent, with four reliefs on the base illustrating biological, scientific, arts, and devotional struggles.
