Delightful Flower Party At Walnut Street Church
April committee of the Search light class at Walnut Street Baptist hosted the remaining members at Mrs. C. E. Griffin’s home. The decor resembled a garden as flowers featured in a program with Mrs. Hastings and Mrs. Wilcox singing, Hastings also playing piano, and Miss Violet Cox presenting readings. Mrs. Rittenhouse won first prize in the flower contest. Miss Marquis took the consolation. A flower hunt matched roses to Easter egg numbers used as place cards. A two course repast closed the afternoon.
