Young Lawyer Wins Both Job and Bride
Boone, April 19. James R. Whitaker well known young lawyer and son of Judge J. R. Whitaker received notice of his appointment in the Internal Revenue Department at Washington and arranged a wedding with Miss Josephine S. Fleming of Boone. They were married at 10:30 p.m. by Rev. M. Ve Higbee at the Presbyterian church. Whitaker will report to Washington tonight and his bride will follow shortly after he settles in his new post.
