Des Moines April 18 Gov Hammill announced the appointment of Stewart Gilman R J Andrews and Ward Evans of Rioux City to an Iowa commission. The group will meet a Nebraska counterpart to consider a site for a Missouri River bridge in Woodbury County. The joint resolution authorized the committee. no appropriation was provided, left for the next legislature.
The Navy selected Lt. A. M. Schur of Portland and Chief Boatswain Farl E. Raber of San Diego to join Lieut. Commander Richard E. Byrd and the MacMillan Arctic expedition this summer.
