National Young People's Union May Hold 1913 convention
The national convention of the Young People's Christian Union of the United Presbyterian church may be held in Waterloo in August 1913 if the invitation voted on yesterday is accepted. The society, over twenty years old, would bring upwards of 600 delegates, and the event would be self entertaining for a relatively small church. Also notes a church address move from 300 Fourth Street West to 303 305 in the same block, with a new store designed for convenience and streetcar sightlines using large mirrors to watch approaching cars.
