Street Employes Seek Wage Increase in City
A third group of city workers from the street department presented a petition asking for a 10 cent an hour raise. Signed by 16 men, the request was referred to the council as a committee of the whole. The report on street repairs was considered, and mayor Tibbits was directed to form a plan with city officials to complete resurfacing. Three officials were reappointed for two years. An oral petition from Orange township trustees to grade a dirt road was denied.
