A. J. Lathmer sues O. O. Brownell for 10000 damages over a breached contract related to building and arming a new theatre opened at Christmas. Lathmer alleges an oral agreement to erect, equip, and lease the theatre for five years, with a written contract promised but not made.
A divorce petition filed in Davenport alleges Ernest T. Moore deserted his wife, Mrs. Moore, after their Aug 27 1920 marriage. The bride left on Dec 16 1920 and has remained away without cause according to the complaint.
Provision of amenities and camping facilities at Theodore F. Clark State Park is to be discussed at a state board of conservation meeting in Ames. The 25 acre wooded tract, four and a half miles northeast of Ames, was donated by the heirs of the T. Fe Clark estate and remains unimproved.
