Paving Gangs Move In for Independence Iowa Road Work
Independence Iowa April 13 workers from Western Asphalt begin grading for a new road project. The contractor plans to lay about 2000 square yards daily using a large concrete mixer and 15 trucks. First paving to Four Corners, then toward town with detours arranged to keep traffic passable. The project targets completion by September with final date in October.
