Jury awards Mrs Zahller 900 in auto crash suit
A jury in Judge Fr. W. Hasners district court division returned a sealed verdict at 1 am awarding Mrs Edna Zahller $900 against L. T. Potter of Potter Ice Cream Co and driver Chester Kern for injuries from a July 6 1927 motor truck collision at First and Washington streets. The defense was represented by Burr C Towne and A B Lovejoy. Zahller sought 5000 and a separate 7500 for her husband which was withdrawn. Mrs Zahller was hospitalized after the crash. Potter had insurance coverage.

Aged Oelwein Man Hurt in Fall at Residence
