Miss Lutes gave an instructive address on school needs. A boy, Carl Seeley, fell into a 40-foot well but survived with injuries after being pulled to the surface. A $20,000 suit against Chicago & Northwestern Railway Co. was filed by S. J. Andrew of Bella Plaine over a scaffold collapse. Palmer, son of Superintendent and Mrs E. F. Palmer, preached at the Methodist Church. he recently rejoined the army and was discharged after medical service.
