Osage Iowa April 7 Carl Run den of Albert Lea Minnesota has purchased the Littleam grocery from F C Chatman and will take possession next Monday He previously ran a Manly grocery and spent a year in California before clerking in Albert LeaChatman is elected cashier of Mitchell County Savings Bank and will start the new duties in mid May replacing P D Sweney who will join his brother Guy Sweney of the Sweney Oil Company in Peoria Illinois
Osage Iowa April 7 Marcus Butterfield was sentenced to seven years in the Anamosa penitentiary by Judge Kelly after pleading guilty to obtaining money under false pretenses and writing checks without funds. He was arrested March 17 in Floyd county and jailed since the trial.

Readily recognizable by their oily color the pills claimed to force normal waste elimination and improve pale dull appearances. Sellers claimed thousands used the product as a safe calomel substitute at 15 cents.
