Boone Is Greeted By Crowded House In Waterloo
A large Waterloo audience gathered at First M. I. church for Blind Boone the celebrated blind pianist in his third Waterloo appearance. The show featured his own compositions including a Marshfield tornado piece, a Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody, and entertaining vocal numbers by Miss Jessie Hrosius and Miss Malissa Fuetl. Boone’s piano antics, miming a train and farm scene, drew cheers and an audience member was invited to perform. John Lange managed the event while Sgt. Harry Werthermier arrived with Totis Mistowski, held on child abandonment charges. Also note a JITNEY bargain offer from Foley & Co mentioning remedies for coughs and related products.
