United Presbyterian church votes to pension pastors in Traer
The Traer United Presbyterian church approved a plan to pension retiring ministers at its annual meeting. The report shows 6,715 dollars raised last year for all purposes, with 259 members. Pastor Rev. F. W. Martin earns 2,200 dollars yearly and parsonage use. Trustees and officers were re-elected, and Sunday school leadership changed. Also noted are the death of Agnes Morison Munson and local incidents including a suspect release and a worker’s narrow freight-train accident near Traer.
