Smith O Knode Faces Grand Jury on Desertion Charge

Smith O Knode may face a grand jury for desertion if he does not post bond to comply with a divorce decree. Judge J W Gwynne ruled this morning that the case goes to the grand jury after yesterday’s trial in municipal court. The 1921 decree required $8.50 weekly for two children, with Mrs Knode seeking a modification to raise the weekly support to $15.
