Regieiver Plans to Sell Wilson & Co Within Months
United Press reports Wilson & Co, a leading packer, will exit receivership within three months under a reorganization plan approved by involved parties. The plan would sell Wilson & Co to a new company under court decree, exchange old securities for new, and scale the mortgage and other claims into a heavy new structure. The plan includes issuing one and a half shares of new common for each preferred and four tenths for each share of new common, with 1924 earnings of 8.826 million dollars and net balances sufficient for returns on new stock. The company has been in receivership for about a year.
