Napoleons Son Dies in Hancock County Infirmary

Paul Jordan who claimed to be Napoleon Bonaparte’s son died at the Hancock County infirmary aged 106. Born in Paris in 1786, he said he traveled with Napoleon to Egypt in 1790 and lived among Turks, Jews, and in Jerusalem before his father’s exile to Saint Helena. He had been an inmate for 10 years, found wandering and unable to identify himself.

Saint Patrick's church holds mass with outside priests attending. Sandrew O'Connell aged 48 dies at 161 Washington avenue. funeral Wednesday at St Patrick's. leaves wife and seven children. John Kelly, 12, run over at New England yard, dies at mother’s 610 Bank street. funeral tomorrow 2:30 pm at St Patrick's. Benedict, Munger and Hayes amputate left leg and left arm in operation. Rev Dr Robert McGonegal of Norwalk dies aged 71. brother of Dr Henry McGonegal. he had been sent to Sing Sing recently for the Annie Goodwin murder. He had been mildly insane for about a year.

New Britain Driver Dies After Step Fall

Charles H. Dewey, 65, a driver for John Bowe dry goods merchant, fell while descending rear steps of the Strickland house store on Saturday evening. With arms full of bundles, he missed his footing and struck his head on the stone walk, dying within minutes of concussion.
