Providence Aug 23 Ralph M M Greenlaw chief clerk of the bureau of industrial statistics will go to New York and substantiate statements in the bureau recently issued report regarding the Maine ice crop before the New York grand jury If District Attorney Jerome desires him to do so after reading the report This declaration was made by Colonel George H Webb chief of the bureau today Everything that the bureau could give the New York grand jury in the way of information contained in there said Colonel Webb If however after knowing this Mr Jerome should request the attendance of Mr Greenlaw I should certainly have no objections to this going
Rev Frank W Wheeler pastor of Trinity Baptist church disappeared after a Sunday walk in Fall River Massachusetts. He has a history of memory loss and his wife suspects the recent heat may have triggered another episode. Police in Newton have been alerted to watch for him as he might wander there.
