Complete wreck of Southern Pacific Passenger Train No 9 at Lake Charles
A Southern Pacific passenger train wreck on the trestle over La Casino Bayou left about 150 aboard. The crash demolished the trestle, most cars sank into mud and water, one boy died, Fred Chattin, and his parents were injured. Mrs Chattin held a baby hurt seriously.
