Found Dead in Heroom at Blow ing Rock
Mrs. Abee of Burke county, wife of a Blow ing Rock Development Co. worker, was found dead in her room at Blow ing Rock. An inquest, led by N N Colvard and Dr. Brooks, returned a verdict that the death was from natural causes. The body was taken to her home for burial.

Mobile Schools Set for July 19 to 22 in Cove Creek
A Raleigh preparatory conference precedes a state mobile schools series to be held July 19 to 22 at Cove Creek. The faculty includes Rev J A Hoyle Dean Prof J G Greer and others teaching modern church practice Sunday school course and membership training. An estimated large attendance is anticipated with entertainment provided and plans urged for broad church participation. Regular services at Cove Creek are slated for next Sunday at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm with a Saturday preaching at 2 pm and a deacons meeting following.
