Trustee Mark W Brown will auction on June 19 1922 at the Watauga County Courthouse Boone NC the merchantable timber and timber products plus about 83 acres of land in four tracts on Rich Mountain Howard's Creek and surrounding bounds. The sale aims to satisfy a secured indebtedness under a 1918 deed of trust by Beech Mountain Lumber Company to W Brown as trustee.
By virtue of the power of sale in a deed of trust dated April 23 1920 by David Henson and wife Dor e Henson Claude Williams and his wife Dessie Williams the undersigned will sell at the courthouse door in Boone North Carolina on June 5 1922 to the highest bidder for cash the described land to satisfy the mortgage and costs The land lies in Watauga county North Carolina beginning at a deadwood and a beech and running along several lines including a 130 pole segment to the beech and further boundary calls The debt totals include 29 plus interest with a $150 credit and a Federal Land Bank of Columbia mortgage of 800.00 note for full payment and sale rights.
