Peoples Bank and Trust Company will sell at public auction on August 31, 1925 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. the 52 acre property on Boone Trail highway west of Boone to satisfy a $2800 debt secured by a mortgage. The sale is subject to a prior deed of trust to the Federal Land Bank of Columbia. Sale conducted by Avery Y. Howell, Cashier.

The Brownings will speak and a ladies missionary society met recently at Mr. J C Trivett's home. Ice cream and cake were served. Construction on the new stone church progresses rapidly with the floor framed.
