Cove Creek School opened on Monday January 5 after the holidays with enrollment at 275. The school will operate six days a week for four weeks to recover a lost Christmas week and the spring term will end April 24. The revival at Henson's chapel has brought 175 conversions and many church additions. Local residents spending Christmas at home include David Mast, Bynum Wilson, James Farthing, Miss Annie Sherwood, and Carlton Mast. Miss Evelyn Moss, former Cove Creek High School music director, did not return. Blanche Horton will take the vacancy. Heating upgrades with asbestos lining improve the school building.
