Death of Pioneer Abraham N. Miller in Muscatine
Dr. A N Miller died suddenly Monday evening in Muscatine aged 78. Abraham N Miller, born March 6 1821 in Preston County Virginia, came to Muscatine in 1844, married Sarah C Weltner in 1851, lived here since 1847, had eight children with only James Clara Josephine Nellie surviving. His wife died about a year ago. He was wealthy and active among old settlers. Rev W G Thorne conducted the funeral from the late residence.
