Iowa Governor’s Pay Raised to Five Thousand
Des Moines April 7. Iowa lawmakers raise the governor’s salary to 5000 but it will not take effect until the end of Gov Cummins’ first term in January 1904. The session also tackles soldier property exemptions, outward swinging doors, publication of state bulletins, and public salary reforms.
