Longtime Knox County Educator W. W. Carter Dies in Florida

W. W. Carter a Daviess native and former Knox County superintendent of schools died in Palatka Florida at 1 30 pm Thursday of the heart attack He had served as Bicknell superintendent in 1914 and taught at Bloomfield later teaching in Coral Gables and Palatka Survivors include his wife Flossie two sons Herbert of Elnora Ind four sisters and other relatives Funeral services and burial will be held in Florida with his daughter Mary Marjorie and Doris May listed among survivors.
