City firemen answered three calls yesterday afternoon. One caused minor property damage when the garage roof caught fire from sparks at 101 East George street, home of Mrs. Chico Kiefer. A grass fire was extinguished at West Van Trees and 14th at 3 20 p m. Another grass fire at the John Walker home on North West Second street was controlled at 4 10 p m.
