Ross Karr 34 died at home after a long kidney disorder illness. He was born May 30 in Logansport Indiana, served in World War II as a private in the machine gun battalion, and later worked in cleaning. He leaves parents Mr. and Mrs. Karr and siblings, with ties to Indiana and Illinois.
Bandits storm North Side State Bank in Evansville pocket district, taking between 1000 and 20000 dollars. They fled in a Buick sedan toward New Harmony, with cashier Herman Selke knocked unconscious and President J C Ager forced to assist.
