New York June 24 Janus H Hyde through counsel Samuel Moynihan expressed willingness to join a friendly suit against James A Hyde and associates for the return of profits totaling 63 283 81 from syndicate deals in which the Equitable's secretary was involved. Attorney General Mayer accepted the offer. Several agents under A C Haines resigned as the company faced fallout from its affairs and Haines encouraged remaining workers to resign if they choose.

Winslow residents plead guilty in fish shooting case
