Former local Washington woman dies in Indianapolis
Former local resident Mrs Willefeld died in Indianapolis this morning after a fall in February fractured skull. Born Knox County near Edwardsport January 1 1850 to James and Mary McClure, she married Dr George W Willett in Vincennes fifty eight years ago. Survived by husband and ten children Otis Morrell Iz Hivie Ralph Nora Cora Rollenson and many grandchildren. A longtime Glendale Methodist and Rebecca Lodge member, she moved to Indianapolis in 1920 and was known for her affectionate nature and devotion to family. No funeral arrangements announced.

The opening and dedication of the boy scout reservation will occur next Monday evening led by Paul L. Hesser. Located two miles east of the courthouse on Bedford road, the site is leased from Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cummins with a cabin on Sanford Hill and surrounding woodlands. A natural amphitheater hosts a council fire as scouts perform opening ceremonies, camp fire songs, stunts, games, and closing rites, with ample parking and a scout supper for all.
