In Daviess circuit court today witnesses in the Bennington levee case described bottom land along the river as valuable and said the farms would suffer about one third damage if the levee is built.

Linton Indiana July 12 Guy Holte a 56 year old farmer five miles east of Bloomfield died at Freeman Greene County Hospital from injuries suffered Friday when kicked in the face by a farm horse. Survived by four brothers and a sister Mrs Julia Dale of Indianapolis.

Indianapolis July 12 A 43 year old Ohio parolee could be sent back to Ohio to serve a 37 year robbery sentence after he was trapped in Indiana by police.
