Anderson Indiana June 21 A runaway wife Violet Watkins eighteen and her husband Milbert Watkins nineteen arrived dressed in working clothes after riding freight and passenger trains from Cullison Kansas to Anderson. She left Muncie after a quarrel with her husband and journeyed via Detroit and Kansas. They intend to go home.
Dr. Joha Hayes, aged 52, formerly of Washington, died at his Davenport Iowa home last Tuesday. A nephew, Clarence M. Hayes of Maysville Road, relayed the notice. He left Washington in 1895 but is remembered by some in the city. he was a dentist who never practiced locally.
