Kokomo Indiana January 4 Peter Horn of Valparaiso suffered a brain concussion and was critically injured yesterday when his large sedan was struck by a southbound Union Traction interurban on Federal Highway 31 north of here His wife and young daughter were thrown from the car and badly bruised They were taken to Howard County Hospital where Horn remained in critical condition The car was demolished The Horn family had visited Indianapolis with Dr Franklin Creger former president of the new State Association.

A Cincinnati hospital report details Mrs. Aikman of East Indiana sustaining a double fracture in the left leg after stepping from a moving Baltimore & Ohio train near Cincinnati. Her three children were uninjured. the accident occurred as the train began to move while she sought a proper connection. Mrs. Aikman will remain in St. Mary's hospital about six weeks before returning home.

Indianapolis Jan 4 A federal suit names the Ku Klux Klan of Indiana and leaders including Dr. Birgai W Evans and Joseph Huffinan as defendants. The suit accuses the order of concealing its purposes to persecute those deemed ineligible for membership, controlling state politics and enacting laws, while collecting over two million dollars in membership fees and owning property taxed at ten million dollars yet not paying taxes. It alleges Klan activities included intimidating citizens on public highways and using force to detour travelers, with a reign of terror by a guild-like detective association.
Rev Alpha H Kenna pastor of First Methodist in LaPorte reported his sedan stolen from the parsonage. Insurance promised over 1400. On the sixtieth day the car was found in Mishawaka but the check was not yet issued. The pastor cancelled his order for a new model, calling it tough luck.
Bluffton Ind Jan 4 A spectacular blaze with explosions wiped out the Overland garage after a defective battery charger started the fire. Eight barrels of alcohol exploded spreading the flames. Loss pegged at 10000 dollars.
