Vincennes February 19 Erwin Shirley 31 died at Samaritan hospital from injuries after his small mobile left Highway south of the city and overturned early Sunday morning. The crash, described as severe, ended Shirley's life shortly after admission to hospital.
Indianapolis report notes Republicans in the House back a three percent retail sales tax and repeal of the gross income tax. Rep Ernest R Jeffrey of Conneryville introduced the sales tax bill adding utilities to the tax base. Revenue would fund state and general funds.
