Lawrence Hornbrook, 74, retired mail carrier, died at his home in Petersburg Tuesday night after 8 25. He was a member of a church and of Union Lodge. Born May 28 1866 to John H and Sarah Hornbrook, he married Martha Ellen Tucker in 1895. Surviving are five children Ralph Rutledge Heber Robert and Lloyd of Phoenix Arizona and Madge McMillen of Petersburg. one brother Samuel Hornbrook of Angola and one sister Mrs Charley Jones of Petersburg. Funeral services will be conducted from the Methodist church Thursday afternoon at 2 o clock with Rev Mr Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery.
