Edward Hewitt, aged 75, farmer of a township in Martin, died after a serious illness. Born February 59 to Frank and Hewitt of England, he passed away at 745 o clock. He leaves a bereaved family and mourners. Funeral arrangements were expected to be announced.

Also surviving are sisters and brothers in Shoals and nearby areas. Funeral services planned at Saint Catholic Church in Shoals, with interment at Spring Hill Cemetery. Emil Noren will direct arrangements.
