John Harris, 65, longtime Washington resident and former editor of the Shoals News and Greenwood News, died after a spine fracture from a November 14 auto crash near Waverly Indiana. Native of Shoals, he was married to Jennie Harris, with two children, Herbert Harris of Greenlawn and Mrs. Glenn Haynes of Kentucky. Funeral set for Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St Mary’s Church. interment follows.
