Obituary for Mrs Catherine Dages of Barr Township
Mrs Catherine Dages widow of Jacob Dages died last Monday night at her youngest son Charles in Barr township after brief illness. Survived by four sons four daughters thirty five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral held Wednesday at St Marys church with Rev Father McCabe officiating. Born in Prussia in 1816 she came to the country as a child and earned a German education and was respected as a Christian wife mother and neighbor. Dages family members named include Nicholas Jacob Frederick and Charles sons and Catherine Mary Oberst Mrs James Wade and Mrs Jacob Bae daughters.
